If you’re travelling from Copenhagen to Møns Klint, take the train from Copenhagen Central Station to Vordingborg Station, which takes between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 40 minutes. From here you can take bus 660R to Stege Rutebilstation - a journey that takes about 50 minutes. From Stege, take bus 667 towards Klintholm Port, which takes just under half an hour. Then take a final bus trip of approx. 10 minutes, bus 678, which goes from Klintholm Harbour to Geocenter Møns Klint. However, this bus is only in operation from May to September, so if you travel outside of this period, you must walk the last 5 km to reach Møns Klint. In this case, it pays to get off at the bus stop “Busemarke (Klintholm Havnevej)”, rather than taking the bus all the way to Klintholm Port, as this shortens the route by 1 km.
As you can see, it’s quite a trip in each direction, although one that is possible to make. Therefore, if it’s possible, we recommend an overnight stay in the area so that you can enjoy the full potential of Møns Klint! There are many lovely Bed & Breakfasts and cosy holiday apartments on Møn – e.g. at Residens Møen in Stege.
If you are travelling from Copenhagen to Karrebæksminde, take the train from Copenhagen Central Station to Næstved Station, which takes between 50 minutes and 1 hour. From there, take bus 603 to Enøby, which takes about 35 minutes.
If you are travelling from Copenhagen to Stevns Klint, take the S-tog (S-train) from Copenhagen Central Station to Køge Station, which takes 40 minutes. From there, take the 210R local line to Rødvig Station, which takes about 30 minutes. You must now take bus 252 towards Frøslev for approx. 10 minutes, until you get to Korsnæbsvej, and walk the last 550 metres to the cliff.
