The old apprentice school in Faxe Ladeplads was built in 1918 and now serves as a bed and breakfast as well as the town’s community centre, with a multitude of events throughout the year. The old school, which is on the main street, can accommodate a total of 18 guests in its six rooms. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Other shared facilities include a kitchenette, a large living/dining room with a TV, a lovely patio and a bicycle shed.
At HUSET40 Bed & Breakfast you will always find art on the walls. Three of the rooms have been decorated by local artists, while exhibits in the large common room and in the corridors are always changing.
You’re close to everything: restaurants, shops, several signposted cycle routes, the marina and not least the lovely Faxe Ladeplads Beach, which is just a few hundred metres away. In other words, HUSET40 Bed & Breakfast is a great starting point for an active holiday or a weekend break in East Zealand.
The place is run by local volunteers who will do everything they can to make you to feel welcome.
